CRB Disclosure Service

Bolton & Bury Education Business Partnership is a registered Umbrella Body with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). We process Standard and Enhanced Disclosure applications on behalf of the CRB for organisations (including small businesses) in the Bolton and Bury area.

The CRB apply different charges for Standard and Enhanced Disclosures. However, applications for people working as volunteers are free*

Our service includes:

• information and advice on making an application
• guidance on correct completion of the application form
• verification of applicant's identity
• application form checking
• submission of form
• monitoring progress of applications
• liaising directly with CRB (where necessary)

* The EBP charge a small administration fee for each application submitted.
